Flatdogs Camp
The South  Luangwa National Park is one of the great wildlife wonders of the world. It is nine thousand square kilometers (3,475 square miles) of pristine wilderness situated in Zambia's Eastern Province. For many years the Luangwa Park has been visited by wildlife enthusiasts from all over the world.
The Luangwa offers a safari experience unmatched by any other destination, allowing year round access, open game viewing vehicles, walking safaris and night drives. However, due to the remoteness of the Park and the difficulties of operating here the cost of a safari has been prohibitive to many people.
However, Flatdogs is a remote place where you can have a great experience of wildlife right in the inner location Lungwa National Park. At Flatdogs they offer accommodation to rival the up-market lodges, at a fraction of the cost. Their accommodation options include luxurious chalet rooms, Jackal-Berry Tree House, Ensuite Safari Tents and of course the best situated camp site in the South Luangwa, with plenty of space for overland groups and separate sites for private campers. Camping is possible until 30th June 2009 and then is closed until 1st November 2009.
