Day 1 Arrive at Lusaka International Airport where there will be meet and greet and latter transferred to a Lodge to relax and have lunch. At night you have the choice of either to go for a tour of the night clubs or just relax and enjoy the Zambian night sky as you await another day for an exciting Zambian bush experience.
Day 2 – 4 Mukambi Lodge.
Mukambi is a private Lodge where activities include game-drives, boat-and fishing trips and walking safaris. There is also a very good chance of seeing impala, puku, elephant, hippo, buffalo and crocodile. You could even be lucky and sight lions, leopards and cheetahs.
Day 5 – 7 Puku Pan.
You experience and adventure without limits whether you are
on foot, in a vehicle, or by boat, Puku Pan Safari Lodge offers an incredible game viewing experience. No gates, no fences, no other tourists, just your small group and an experienced guide wandering free in nature's kingdom. Here you may see big game like elephant, lion and leopard, and of course, the plentiful antelopes that roam the entire area, like puku and impala.
On the river, the peering eyes of the half-submerged hippos will curiously follow your boat's course, while on the banks, prehistoric creatures like large crocodiles and monitor lizards warm their cold blooded bodies in the hot African sun.
Day 8 – 9 Nanzhila Plains Safari Camp is an area best known for its lush woodlands of Miombo, Zambezi Teak and Mopane. The beautiful plains and the stream that runs through it, after which the lodge is named offers excellent opportunities to see the healthy populations of a number of antelope species including Roan and Sable, Reedbuck, Defassa Waterbuck, Oribi, Hartebeest and Eland as well as all the major carnivores, with a particularly strong population of Wild Dog and Cheetah. The birdlife is phenomenal throughout the year, and sightings can almost be guaranteed of the endemic Black-cheeked Lovebird, the Wattled Crane, Ground Hornbill and Saddle-billed Stork amongst others.
